Up till now, the focus of Jordan’s experience has been in school and at home. Socially we have seen pretty little interaction between Jordan and his old friends. That all changes over winter break where Jordan take a breather from the rigors of school to kick back with his buds. It is also the first time we hear about what his old school was like. In this section of the book we have a lot of things to compare and contrast. This far in we are able to connect similarities and notice differences between the two lives Jordan bounces between.
Up till this point Jordan has kept those two lives pretty separate. As the story goes on I am hoping that we will recognize more similarities than differences. Below are your discussion questions, project, and creative writing prompt to further engage with the book. Enjoy!
