Hello writer! We are continuing poetry month with a brand new lesson and prompt. I am particularly excited about this writing prompt because up to about 3 weeks ago I hadn’t even heard of this poetic style. One reward of being a teacher is you get to be a lifelong student. When it’s done right, learning should feel like a discovery. I have to admit that there are times when I have felt jaded and uninspired and uninterested, but then WHAM! I stumble upon some new world and become so charged up with excitement and possibility. This poetic form has done that for my recently I hope to bring a little of that to you.
