Relationships are central to any good story. They create the opportunity for drama, dialogue, love, betrayal, and connection. Different people bring out different things in us. A super adventurous friend might make you try something you wouldn’t have on your own. A mischievous friend might get you into trouble, a bully might give you courage to stand up to them and your coach might make you push yourself further than you thought you could.
Each of these connections and relationships is a story. I know we tend to think about a story as a set of actions and plot, but relationships are a valuable part in this.
