Writing Prompt Tales of 3/4

YES day

This week we talked about patterns and themes that have emerged in this book. A pretty big one is Peter trying to enjoy something and Fudge ruining it. Or Peter trying to go do the thing he wants to do, but has to run errands with Fudge. Some examples of this are Peter wanting to hang out with Jimmy Fargo, but he has to go shoe shopping and spend the afternoon with his brother and mother, or he has to help with a toddler birthday party.

So in honor of Peter, and really any kid who has to be dragged along somewhere instead of doing what they would rather do, our prompt is about a YES day! If you don’t know what a YES day is, first of all, how is that possible? And second of all, it’s exactly what you think it is. A YES day is a day when your parents have to say yes to everything you say for a day (within reason).
