Such a great thing about Wonder is that the message of this book is connected to the form of the book. So the message about kindness and thinking about other’s experience in a deeper way is actually DEMONSTRATED by jumping into other characters minds.
This is so smart and cool because it shows us how a form of writing can be a part of the story. It’s a hard thing to get out of your own mind and into another’s, but also a very necessary thing to be empathetic.
